Thursday Night Football holds a marquee spot for Jayden Daniels as he takes on a divisional foe for the first time. Daniels has been stellar this season, but he’s yet to see the bright lights in Philly.
Most stats point to this being an exciting and well-balanced matchup. However, it shouldn’t be ignored that the Commanders are 0-3 against teams with winning records. While the Eagles had a rough start to the season, they have improved each week and at 7-2, they’re looking as strong as ever.
Commanders D
Washington has been on a nice run, but the Eagles are the perfect team to expose every flaw they have. The Commanders have a lackluster defense, and they’ve been winning games by allowing points to be scored knowing they’ll be able to score more. Consequently, that game plan will not work with Philadelphia. The Eagles’ offense is far stronger, and their defense will not allow the Commanders to play such games. Hence, Philadelphia’s offense should roll.
Saquon
Philadelphia will give the ball to Saquon Barkley, and everything else will fall into place. Barkley will have his way with the defense. That will open up the field for Hurts. Unfortunately, Barkley’s props are too crazy to take any action on them, so bettors will have to be creative.
Daniels to Struggle
The Commanders have yet to face a defense like the Eagles, and it’s going to make this loss look far more ugly than their previous three. Daniels props are already high given his game log, but factoring in the Eagles secondary, his unders are an easy bet.
