College Basketball Tip
If you are new to the world of college basketball and would like to make money betting on it, I have one huge strategy I believe you should implement.
Only focus on one conference.
Become an expert on that conference. If you are trying to sift through hundreds of games as a novice, you will go absolutely nowhere. Instead, learn one conference. This will make it easier for you to keep up with the injury news. Once conference play begins and you know the strengths and weaknesses of each team, you should be able to dominate. Then, the conference tournament will give you an excellent chance to make some real cash. Every top college basketball bettor knows that the conference tournaments are where you make your money, and the NCAA tournament is where you have your fun.
Dallas Cowboys in Trouble
The Dallas Cowboys made a huge mistake by giving all that money to QB Dak Prescott. Mired with a 3-5 record, the Cowboys are probably regretting that mistake. With an elite player, you can never pay them enough money. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, TJ Watt, these guys can never be overpaid. However, when you give elite money to an above-average player, this is the situation you end up in.
Now Dallas is at 3-5 and has salary cap restrictions. With the Commanders making the leap, it’s hard to see Dallas win the NFC East for the next 3 years.
Parity has not Been Achieved
There are currently 9 teams that only have two wins. This is tough for NFL fans throughout the country. If your team only has two wins, at this point in the season, you are looking ahead to the draft and hoping that you can draft a top player to turn things around. But as it currently stands you could be mired in this terrible situation, yet only pick ninth.
This is a disaster for some NFL fan bases as they have the slog through a regular season of getting their butts kicked every Sunday, and then not even be able to draft a player who can turn their franchise around. Most of these teams need quarterbacks and there seems to be only two available this year. For teams at the bottom of the standings, it could be a long haul before they are good again.
This Week in Sports Betting: Best Bet
As an avid NBA fan, I am used to betting the schedule. Oftentimes we take inferior teams against better teams who are in terrible travel situations. We get to take advantage of this idea in the NFL this week.
The San Francisco 49ers are coming off of a bye and could potentially get MVP-caliber running back Christian McCaffrey back in the fold. So they have had two weeks to prepare for this game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a Monday Night Football overtime loss. So they have played extra minutes and now only have 6 days to prepare. Let’s take a page out of our NBA notebook and bet the schedule here. Give me the San Francisco 49ers -6.
