NFL MVP Odds | Nuke The House Sports Betting

Keg and Holden discussed the NFL MVP odds and betting market on Football Day In America. Right now on Draftkings Sportsbook, Josh Allen is the favorite at +150. Lamar Jackson is next at +200 and Jared Goff is on his own tier at +600.

It looks to be a two-man race for the award right now. However, Jared Goff is the quarterback of the best team in football and cannot be discounted.

Jalen Hurts (+1200), Patrick Mahomes (+1300) and Kyler Murray (+1500) make up the long-shot tier of MVP candidates.

Here are the NFL MVP odds cases for the top three MVP candidates.

Josh Allen

The Bills QB just took down the undefeated Chiefs. Furthermore, Allen was without two of his top weapons, as Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman missed the contest. His Bills are 9-2, and Allen has an 18/5 TD/INT ratio. He’s accumulated 316 rushing yards and added five rushing touchdowns. He’s been top-5 in the voting two previous times and is in a great position to win his first MVP award.

Lamar Jackson

The two-time MVP is in the midst of his best passing season yet. He’s second in the league in passing yards at 2,876, only trailing Joe Burrow. Jackson leads the position in rushing yards (584) and leads the second-leading rusher, Jayden Daniels by 102 yards.

Lamar has a 25/3 TD/INT ratio and added two more scores on the ground. Statistically, he’s been the best QB this year, although the Ravens are 7-4 and sitting in second place in the AFC North. Moreover, add the fact that there might be voter fatigue in awarding Jackson his third MVP and he could be passed on by voters.

Jared Goff

At 9-1, the Lions are currently the best team in the NFL and Goff will stay in the race as long as Detroit continues its current trajectory and he doesn’t have another meltdown game as he did against Houston when he threw five interceptions. In addition, Goff has an insane 73% completion percentage. He’s fourth in passing touchdowns and ninth in yards. He’s equally as qualified as Allen and Jackson but has some ground to make up.

The MVP race may come down to Week 15 when Goff and the Lions host Josh Allen and the Bills.

Allen, Jackson and Goff look to be the three remaining viable NFL MVP candidates. Right now, it’s Allen’s award to lose according to our analysis of the NFL MVP odds.
