Sports Betting Plays of the Day: NFL Futures Guide
Here are the best 2024 NFL futures bets from our NFL cappers.
NFC East Champion
Keg: I’m on the Philadelphia Eagles at around a coin flip to win the NFC East. Worst case, I think that they’re an eleven and six club maybe twelve and five.
The year comes down to 3 things for me Number one, can Saquon Barkley stay healthy? Two, can the secondary bounce back and three, does Jalen Hurts play at a MVP level.
I think that happens.
The Play: Eagles to win the NFC East at -120

Seahawks Win Total
Spread Astaire: Mike Macdonald is now the Seahawks head coach, after spending the past two seasons as defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.
Seattle also revamped their offensive play calling after grabbing former University of Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb.
This will no longer be a “grind it out” defensively based team. The Seahawks are going to try to push the ball down the field and be an explosive offense.
Seattle has all the pieces to be good on offense, and if Macdonald can mold this defense into at least an above average unit, they’ll win more games than they lose.
The Play: Seahawks OVER 7.5 (WINS -150)

NFL Passing Yards Leader
JC Zargo: I’m targeting the NFL passing yards leader. The best option for bettors is Josh Allen.
The Bills QB finished 318 yards behind Tua for the crown last year. While he did lose Stefon Diggs to Houston, a guy like Allen will post numbers no matter who he’s throwing to.
Secondly, Patrick Mahomes is always in the mix and now has Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown to stretch the field.
The Plays: Patrick Mahomes (+800) and Josh Allen (+1700)

Vikings Win Total
Tyler Hicks: I have little to no hope for this Vikings team to improve on the 7-10 record they posted last season, as they lost starting QB Kirk Cousins to the Falcons in the offseason.
After Cousins went down with a ruptured achilles, Minnesota’s ship went down last year.
This season they’ll be starting the year with Sam Darnold at Quarterback. At least Darnold will have Justin Jefferson to throw the ball to.
I’m very low on the Vikings and I believe they’ll be one of the three worst teams in the NFL this season. I don’t see them winning anymore than four games.
The Play: Vikings alt wins Under 6.5 wins (+120)

Falcons Win Total
Sean Fox: The Falcons now have veteran Quarterback, Kirk Cousins. While Cousins isn’t a superstar, he arguably becomes the best QB in the division and to ask Atlanta to win three more games than last year is reasonable.
I see eight winnable games (Steelers, Seahawks, Broncos, Chargers, Vikings, Raiders, Giants, and Commanders
