Sports Betting Play of the Day Breakdown for Rainbow Warriors vs Bulldogs NCAA GAME
Saturday night Hawaii travels stateside to face Fresno State.
This will be the 56th meeting between these two teams with Fresno on a 9-3 straight up and 7-4-1 against the spread run recently.
The last time these two met was in 2022 when the Bulldogs roasted the Rainbow Warriors 55-13 as 27-point favorites.
Rainbow Warriors
There were high expectations for Hawaii under Head Coach Timmy Chang as he entered his third season at the helm. If you recognize the name, you certainly should. Chang was a record-setting QB at Hawaii 2000-20004.
Hawaii returned 15 starters this year, but the results have not been there on offense. They’re averaging just 253.5 yards per game. Their record sits at 3-5. with two of those three wins coming vs Division 1AA (FCS) competition.
Bulldogs
Fresno St. (5-3) sits near the top of the Mountain West Conference. They’re 3-1 in conference play.
Fresno will bring the heat on defense. They’re led by coordinator Kevin Coyle, who has always shined at every stop. The Bulldogs are currently only giving up 276 yards per game, and I expect them to greatly limit this struggling Hawaii offense.
Fresno is improving in my ratings. Head Coach Jeff Tedford always gets the most out of his teams, and these are not the type of games his teams tend to struggle in.
I look for Fresno to get the job done covering the 12.5 points. ! And for full transparency, I posted Fresno State -12 for the members earlier in the week but at -12.5 I’ll still back the Bulldogs!
