Commanders-Eagles and Bills-Chiefs Predictions

It’s Conference Championship Week! Super Bowl Sunday is great, but this week deserves more love. Some years, the Conference Championship games are more memorable than the Super Bowl. Given the matchups we have, that may be the case this year.

Commanders @ Eagles

Opening up the day are the Eagles and Commanders. Jayden Daniels is just the sixth rookie quarterback to take his team to a Conference Championship game, and he’s trying to become the first to take his team to a Super Bowl.

Daniels’ season has been unreal, he faltered midway through the season, making some question his ceiling on the season, but he has found a new gear in these playoffs. After toppling the Lions, Washington has to be viewed as a legitimate threat to go all the way. The Commanders aren’t just a cute story, a 2017 Viking’s akin, Washington really could win two more games this year.

As for Philly, they have torn through this season, but they’ve shown some weaknesses in the postseason, and if Jalen Hurts isn’t fully healthy, Saquon Barkley will need a 200-yard game for the Birds to even have a chance in this one.

The Eagles have won 14 of their last 15 games, that one loss, was at the hands of the Commanders. Things look bleak for Philly.

Best Bet: Washington Commanders +6 (-108)
Best Bet: Saquon Barkley 150+ Rushing Yards (+196)

Bills @ Chiefs

Taking the primetime slot is the Kansas City Invitational. The dominance we are witnessing from Patrick Mahomes is unparalleled — eight seasons, and eight conference championship games. Many quarterbacks have come through this league, but we’ve never seen anything like Mahomes.

While some hope to see fresh blood in the Super Bowl, it’s unwise to put money on things you hope for. The Bills have never beaten the Chiefs in the playoffs, and there is no reason to think that will change this year.

Best Bet: Kansas City -1.5 (-110)

One has to feel bad for Josh Allen, he may end his career as the biggest “what if” in NFL history. He has been so dominant, but he’s about to have his season ended by the Chiefs for the fourth time. In a different era or different conference, Allen could have had a career that paralleled Mahomes, but instead, he’s having a career like Jim Kelly.

Bettors would be wise to lock in their Super Bowl pick now. No matter who wins the NFC, the Chiefs will be favored by 3 points or more, but right now, the Chiefs are (+220) to win the Super Bowl. Even if you disagree with my pick on this game, you’ll want to lock in Buffalo (+260).

DK: Super Bowl Winner: Chiefs (+220)

Best Bets:

Washington Commanders +6 (-108)
Saquon Barkley 150+ Rushing Yards (+196)
Kansas City -1.5 (-110)
DK: Super Bowl Winner: Chiefs (+220)
