Tampa Bay was flying high until injuries to their two-star wideouts flattened their offensive attack. Without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in the lineup, the Tampa Bay offense has taken a hit. This does not bode well going against one of the best defenses in the league, that of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City is 7-0 this season behind the strength of their defense. The Chiefs were once one of the highest-scoring teams in the league, but they have adopted a defensive identity. The Chiefs have been playing in low-scoring games. However, against the Buccaneers, they may have an opportunity for the offensive outburst that we’ve all been waiting for.

Injuries to the Tampa Bay secondary make this team vulnerable to the passing attack. If KC can move the ball through the air, Tampa Bay will have problems winning in a shootout.

Although I like the underdogs in primetime, however, I’m going to have to go with a favorite in this one. Tampa Bay is too decimated and this matchup. I look for Kansas City to finally find their groove on offense. Although it’s a big number, we’re going to lay it with the Chiefs.
