Sports Betting Experts of Nuke the House

Jason 'Keg' Paglia

(Chief Profitability Officer)

Sports betting has been a part of Keg’s life since he was 6 years old, going to see the horses that his parents and grandparents owned run at the racetrack. In 2010, Keg sold his business, left his old career behind and started sports betting full-time. He hasn’t punched a clock at a 9-5 job since.

Knowing that success in this industry is predicated on discipline, he focused on the three sports that brought him the best results: football, MMA, and NASCAR. In 2019, Keg started a sports betting YouTube channel that focused on in-game betting livestreams. Keg saw that the writing was on the wall, and he knew that in-game betting was going to be a massive part of this space before anyone else seemed to notice.

His goals as a sports betting expert were to teach people how to exploit the in-game betting markets while also offering viewers a companion to bet with and shoot the shit with. From Day One, Nuke The House | Sports Betting has been about comradery as much as it’s about making money.

In 2020, Keg was asked to run the betting side of Run Pure Sports with a good friend, and did so enthusiastically. At RPS, Keg offered an education on how to become a profitable sports bettor, as well as livestreams, picks, and everything in-between. Over the course of two years he led the team in performance going 299-419 and making (+124.39 units) of profit.

In late 2022 Keg left RPS, and headed back to his YouTube channel. What took place on that YouTube channel in 2023 was nothing short of amazing. Over the course of 12 months, the channel made (+343.81 units) of profit fully tracked and live on YouTube. Nuke The House | Sports Betting was profitable every month of the NFL season for over 100 units of profit and destroyed NASCAR and MMA for another 240+ units of profit.

Transparency and integrity in the sports betting space mean more to Keg than anything. He doesn’t bet 5 unit and 10 unit max bombs. He has no patience for that nonsense. Keg is a sports bettor that wins and it’s not by accident. He would love to give you the tools to do the same.

Holden “Kush” Kushner

(Chief Executive Officer)

Holden Kushner is the Chief Operating Officer at Nuke The House | Sports Betting, which means he does more than Keg. Holden spent more than 25 years as a sports talk show host and sports television anchor including 13 years in Washington D.C., where he hosted middays on WJFK FM and was a reporter and anchor for the local CBS television affiliate. In 2015 he made the switch to full time fantasy sports and being a sports betting host and analyst.

The first bet Holden remembers making was in 1992, when he won $20 off a coworker by backing the Dallas Cowboys in a playoff game against the Chicago Bears. Holden resides somewhere in Colorado with his wife, Casey (NTH’s SEO wizard) and his two children who know nothing about sports betting but know a lot about soccer and Pokemon.

Reed “Coop” Cooper

(Chief Financial Officer)

Coop started playing daily fantasy sports recreationally about a decade ago with a focus on NFL, NASCAR, and PGA. In 2020 he joined Run Pure Sports as an NFL, NASCAR, and PGA contributor. Shortly afterward, the perfect storm took place. He met Keg and sports betting became legal in his state. An immediate friendship was formed.

Through picking Keg’s brain about the ins and outs of sports betting every day for years, and applying the knowledge he accrued from the sports he focused on in DFS, Coop made one $600 deposit into a sportsbook and the rest was history. In 4 years he’s built a 6 figure bankroll. Like Keg, Coop’s average line is well over +400. He’s hit multiple bets over the last couple years that have exceeded 100-1, and uses parlay pieces to increase return when warranted. He has become a sports betting expert in his own right.

JC ZARGO's BIO:

(Lead NHL Capper/NFL)

Memphis-based writer & handicapper JC Zargo has been betting on sports for nearly 10 years. While he lost hundreds of bets his first few years he didn’t consider himself a failure, he merely found hundreds of ways to not bet on sports. He learned a lot through losing, and now he’s a profitable bettor who sticks to the sports he excels in: basketball, football, hockey, and tennis. As a North Carolina native, not a year goes by where he doesn’t place a future on Duke to win the National Title — some lessons are harder to learn than others.

TYLER HICKS’ BIO:

Tyler specializes in NFL player prop betting and also handicaps MMA and NBA. He resides in Pittsburgh and enjoys sitting on stairwells and taking fancy pictures in cardigans.

RAY GREYFOX’S BIO:

Ray placed his first NCAA football wager during the 1984 season. Like most beginners, Ray thought he had all the answers, when really all he had was his bookies address memorized. What he realized early on is he had to find a way to value teams different than what the books were using to generate their lines. It wasn’t until he moved to Las Vegas that things really started moving. There, two things happened. He met his professional mentor, who remains a close confidant to this day, and he started working for the biggest sports bettor in the world. What he noticed was his mentor was 100 percent data driven. And the gentleman he was working for surrounded himself with a team of specialists. Thats when Ray began to hone in on an algorithm that allowed him to assign a specific rating to every D1 football team.  When most are betting into Sunday NFL games, Ray is pouring over the data from the day before and inserting data into his formula to set numbers for the coming week prior to books hanging them. This allows him to pounce on softer opening numbers that move heavily as the week progresses. Ray has been consistently winning since. It is a labor of love and one which Nuke The House members have full access to.
