Rams vs 49ers NFL Betting Predictions

NFL betting Thursday Night Football

The Game: Thursday Night Football, Rams @ 49ers

The Line: 49ers -3, Total 49

TNF

With four games left in the season, the 7-6 Los Angeles Rams are only a game out of first place in the NFC West. Defying expectations are the San Francisco 49ers who sit in last place in this division. The 49ers remain in striking distance, but a loss here would practically eliminate them from playoff contention. Here’s my Rams vs 49ers prediction:

The Rams are alive and well. LA was falling out of the divisional race, but Matt Stafford out-dueled Josh Allen on Sunday. One game can rarely change a team’s entire outlook this late in the season, but this seems to be the Ram’s MO.

We saw something similar last season from LA, but this year injuries delayed their launch. If the Rams play half as well tonight as they did on Sunday, they will roll the 49ers.

While some may have concerns about LA’s’ defense, San Francisco’s offense is a calf compared to the big-boy Bills. Injuries have neutered the 49ers, and they’re exactly the kind of team a defense wants to see when having to play on short rest.

NFL Betting Best Bets:

Los Angeles Moneyline (+130)

San Francisco Under 25.5 Points (-102)

Stafford took care of the Bills primarily using Puka Nacua. Nacua saw over half of the 320 yards Stafford threw for last week. After that performance, everyone will be running to bet Nacua props in this game, but bettors should be wary.

It’s hard to say how sharp Nacua will be on short rest, and given that he should be the primary focus of the San Francisco defense, I’d recommend staying off his props pre-flop. It’s also worth noting that the 49ers have one of the best pass defenses in the league. For both of those reasons, bettors should look toward the Rams rushing props.

Kyren Williams has been one of the few consistent pieces for the Rams this season; he’s rushed for 69+ yards in nine of his last ten games. Williams is coming off a Sunday where he rushed for 87 yards, so with his number sitting at 71.5 this week is a pretty safe play.

NFL Betting Best Bet:

Kyren Williams Over 71.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Thursday Night Football Best Bets:

Los Angeles Moneyline (+130)

San Francisco Under 25.5 Points (-102)

Kyren Williams Over 71.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
