Week 12 in the NFL has an odd look as nearly every game has a spread of less than a field goal or greater than a touchdown. Games have been well-balanced this season, but it’s late in the season and we are starting to see strong separations between playoff contenders and teams seeking a top draft pick. Big Dog, Little Dog
With this many heavy underdogs, one of them is bound to win outright, especially with so many divisional matchups. While the Tennessee Titans probably don’t have the firepower to upset the Texans, they will make things uncomfortable for CJ Stroud and company.
Divisional opponents have given the Texans difficulties this season. Consequently, this is the main reason Houston isn’t considered a contender in the AFC. Houston has beaten Buffalo, kept things close with Detroit, but struggling against the Colts and Jaguars is a bad look. This trend will continue as Houston will overlook the Titans.

Bear Down
The Chicago Bears are on a four-game losing streak. Caleb Williams has not been the game-changer he was made out to be. Now fans are feeling defeated, but things are about to turn around in Chicago.
The Bears nearly threw the Green Bay monkey off their back last week, but poor play-calling kept that from happening. Chicago should be able to use that motivation and take down a different divisional opponent this week. Chicago is hosting the Minnesota Vikings, an extremely overrated team that has yet to be fully exposed. The Bears should win this game outright, but I take the points when they’re being offered.

Week 12 NFL Expert Picks and Predictions: Heavy Favorite
When blindly looking at this slate, one would think the Detroit Lions playing in Indianapolis would have the largest spread, certainly double digits. However, that’s not the case.
This is the best offering on the board, as Detroit has been demolishing teams, and this week they face the worst quarterback in the league. In conclusion, the Lions defense is going to feast, and the offense will walk down the field at will. Take advantage of this spread.
