SUNDAY NFL FREE PICKS

Here’s your NFL Sunday Free Play for 10/13/24.

It’s another challenging week for bettors, as the favorites in Week 6 look as appealing as ever. It has been incredibly difficult to lay points this season, but looking at the matchups on the board it is hard to find a favorable underdog. It’s no surprise that public money is coming in on the favorites, so there will either be a role reversal this week, or Vegas is in for another incredibly profitable Sunday.

Browns @ Eagles

The biggest favorite in Week 6 is the Philadelphia Eagles, who are hosting the Cleveland Browns. The line opened at (9.5) and is down to (8.5).

This is the 10th time this season we have seen a spread over seven, and the favorites have covered just once. That was in Week 4 when the 49ers covered the largest spread of the season (-10.5) against the New England Patriots. While each game has its own factors, it’s still important to take in as much information as possible.

Despite their sloppy play, the return of A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Lane Johnson have people thinking the Eagles will return to form this week. However, the Eagles have not been capable of beating a team by 10 points since October of last year.

As bad as the Browns are, it’s still foolish to back Nick Sirianni laying that many points.

NFL Sunday Free Play: Cleveland Browns +8.5 (-110)

Chargers @ Broncos

Another appealing matchup is the Los Angeles Chargers who are visiting the Denver Broncos. Bo Nix has won three games in a row, but he has a tough battle in front of him as Jim Harbaugh and company are coming off a bye.

The Chargers are trying to keep their season on track, as they’ve suffered back-to-back losses. Their list of injuries is incredibly long, but the extra week of rest will allow them to activate a few of those players. It’s worth noting that the Chargers haven’t won in Denver since 2018, and have lost their last three in a row against the Broncos.

While Los Angeles has the better team on paper, the paper doesn’t always matter. There are too many factors working against the Chargers. While the Broncos should win outright, it’s advisable to take points when offered.

NFL: Sunday Free Play: Denver Broncos +3 (-112)
