NFL Sunday Free Plays of The Day
The public have been getting screwed by favorites this season. It’s time for many of you to reevaluate your process and reassess how you’re making picks this season. Most importantly, bettors should be throwing away any preconceived notions about teams entering this season that haven’t come to fruition. That’s our starting point for this week’s NFL Sunday free plays of the day.
Targeting the Total: Los Angeles Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have their home opener as they host the Los Angeles Chargers. This may be the most intriguing matchup on the slate. After all, we’re talking about Jim Harbaugh’s high-power run offense vs Mike Tomlin’s steel defense.
However, LA’s offense may have a setback as Justin Herbert is questionable with an ankle injury. Pittsburgh’s defense will make things difficult for the Chargers, but the potential loss of their quarterback will also make points even harder to come by.
Pittsburgh has won their first two games by holding their opponents to ten points or less, so taking the under in this game is likely the best bet of the week.
The Play: Under 35.5 (-115)
Best Side: Carolina Panthers @ Las Vegas Raiders
Last week, the underdogs were 9-5-1 at the spread. Picking favorites has been a huge pitfall for bettors through the first two weeks of the NFL season, but there’s still one underdog that no one should be betting on this season: the Carolina Panthers.
The announcement that Andy Dalton would be starting for Carolina this week moved the line in their favor but there’s still no reason to think they have a chance in this game. The Raiders have looked solid through two weeks, and they couldn’t have asked for an easier opponent as they host the Panthers for their home opener.
Las Vegas should easily cover, and bettors should consider some action on alternative totals.
The Plays:
Raiders -5 (-115)
Raiders -9.5 (+154
Best Prop Bet- Miami Dolphins @ Seattle Seahawks
After a devastating Thursday night game, morale is low in Miami. It’s sure to be a tough week for them. Not only are key pieces of their offense banged up, but they are also traveling across the country for their Week 3 matchup.
We know the Dolphins pass game won’t be strong with Skylar Thompson starting. Jeff Wilson and Raheem Mostert are injured. This means the lion’s share of the workload will fall on De’Von Achane. He had 22 touches against Buffalo, and bettors can expect a similar number this week.
The Play: De’Von Achane Over 16.5 Carries (+100)
Sports Betting Free Play Recap:
Chargers @ Steelers under 35.5
Raiders -5 -115
Raiders alt line -9.5 +154 (.5 unit)
De’Von Achane Over 16.5 Carries (+100)
