Here’s our sports betting play for August 26th, 2024:
The Game: Kansas City Royals at Cleveland Guardians Game One of double header (1:10 est)
The Pitchers: Cole Ragans vs Nick Sandlin.
The Line: Kansas City -1 +105 DraftKings
Breakdown:
The Royals send their stud starting pitcher, Cole Ragans to the mound up against what appears to be a bullpen game for the Guardians. While the Guardians have an excellent bullpen, there is a clear pitching advantage with the Royals and Ragans.
Offensively, Kansas City owns the better offense in runs scored with 630, which is 8th best in MLB. Cleveland comes in middle of the pack at 593. Cleveland is a great home team (40-21) while the Royals are a good road team (31-30). This should be a fun one to watch with great players all over the field.
Give me the better offense and the better starting pitcher and make it plus money. I’ll take that all day.
